Kids are awesome! I don't have any of my own, so I can't really say if they're "worth it", but I have two nieces and a nephew who I've really loved watching grow up. It's pretty cool to see them develop personalities and become individuals.
It's worth it if you have a wife who's all motherly and will do most of the work. Foreigners are usually your best bet in that department. If you've got yourself a modern white girl, she's gonna insist that you do half. And in my experience, her half of the work will be to tell you to do the work.
Er, anyway, is it worth it? Meh, sometimes. But there will be many early mornings when the baby is crying, and you and your old lady will be having a fake sleeping contest because no one wants to get up and handle the little ****. You'll lose of course, because chicks already have lots of practice pretending to be asleep to avoid sex. So you'll be up changing a ****ty diaper and watching the 700 Club on your only day off. I'm not sure which of the two activities is more nauseating though...
I never really have such a strong opinion on such issues. But I suppose, in the end, yes it is worth it. Yea, theres a lot of fuss and time required to raise a kid, but a lot of things in life require fuss and time and effort. Meh, personally I would never have kids, I'm not too fond of them myself.
