Guess how we are spending it? We were going to go out to eat-however both cars need to be fixed-so all money is going to that. I am very thankful though that dh is very handy and is doing all the work.
It is amazing how fast time flies--and how the longer you have been married it really doesn't bother you- and that I really really appreciate the skills my husband has!!

He just replaced the alternator, serpentine belt and tensioner on our 98 caravan, and also cap and rotors on the truck--and something else on my dd car.
I am thankful he knows how to do the work--I can't imagine how much a mechanic would charge (a friend told me for the van it would have been over 500 just in labor--not to mention the parts)
So I guess I am grateful we only had to pay for parts. What is more important--the working car or going out to eat?
Thanks for all the wonderful wishes---I will say this weather is a lot nicer than 28 years ago when there was a snow storm!!!
