She's been super busy at work and it is easy to get sucked in here. Sometimes a quick pop in becomes a lot more time spent. She mentioned she needed to catch up on cw, I guess she is more behind than I thought.

I have been trying to limit, my BP is not getting any better. A week ago Friday was one of those nights that I went to bed wondering if I was going to wake up on Saturday or have a stroke in my sleep. My BP was triple digits over triple digits. NOT good for me.
My SIL died Wednesday morning. She had the flu, which became pneumonia, then an infection, they put her in the hospital (this was about 2 weeks ago). She went into cardiac arrest and into a coma. She never woke up, they said if she did she'd never be the same. My poor niece and 2 nephews had to make the difficult decision to move her to hospice a week or so ago. They now have no parents (they are all in their very early 20's) because she was the SIL married to my brother who committed suicide in 2007.
Mom is plugging along, we are preparing for her to go to the Mayo Clinic the first week of March for the surgery on the portal vein (which she is convinced she won't be coming home from).
My sister who is a year older than I found out this week that the replacement (pig) aortic root valve that she got in 2005 has worn out and they will have to do it again. It's a very serious surgery for her, not scheduled yet.
Work is a killer. It's a good thing, but there are not enough hours in the day.

that's a lot of stress. Do you see a doctor about your BP regularly? Wow, Joy you need to be covered in prayers. Sounds like you have a good outlook on things. I do hope that someone is keeping tabs on your blood pressure--and that there is something they can do for you!

I'm so sorry Joy (((HUGS))))....please remember to make time to take care of yourself, that BP can do a lot of damage if you don't control it OK?
no :hides: only in times of crisis. I know there is cardiac stuffs going on, but being uninsured there is only so much I can do until the going gets very bad. So I'm trying to just take care of myself. I know myself and I know that something is on the horizon. I'm so exhausted, not just work and stress...just an overwhelming exhaustion. So, we'll see. May go for a check up soon and just see. Thanks everyone :hug:
