Which is more then he can say.... KARMA is a ****.. just ask my Ex... :lol: that's one ugly story that has kicked him right square in his ****. Funny thing is my (our) son couldn't give a **** less about him.... it's pretty comical actually.

So sorry.. I wish I had magical words to take the pain away. You seem like a very strong woman. Take care of yourself and your kids. Don't worry about the asshat, he will get what he deserves in time. Maybe when this woman cheats on him. 2010 is almost gone.....

He is obligated to pay child support during the seperation. If you do not have one yet, get a lawyer if you can and go after him. Hit him hard and hit him first. Esp if he is not expecting it. Also, I would not speak to his girlfriend. She has no legal right to contact you to discuss your children. I would hang up on her and I would tell him that until she is his wife, she needs to refrain from making demands about the kids.
He is clearly deluded if he thinks he can just skip out and go have fun, leaving you with the hard stuff. This will not look good to a judge either. Document everything he says and does. Document anything the girlfriend says or does. Get a notebook specifically for this. Keep track of the time between visits, phone calls, everything.
You need to be strong and get everything you can for your kids. Sorry for the rant, but guys like this really piss me off. A friend of mine went through this and I have nothing but contempt for men who run off and ditch their families and hurt their kids.

AND (to add to Clars suggestion) if you can't afford an attorney.... go to public aid and see if you qualify for help with court costs. Believe it or not they have a good hold on Deadbeat daddies.... takes them a bit longer but it's free and they are great!
:shesaid: My aunt went through this, it took almost 2 years for her divorce to go through. During that time she documented everything. Each time they went to court - many, many times - she brought this information to show the judge. The judge got so sick of her ex and all of his excuses/trying to find loopholes. Eventually she won, and then went after him for attorney fees too.
I love you guys! And soon enough I can tell you all the full story. But for now I have to keep my mouth shut. Georgie knows quite a bit and I can't thank her enough for chatting with me! For now I will say this...I am doing everything I can to be the best mom I can be and protect my children to the fullest! At this point I could care less about the grown up stuff and my priorities are what is in the best interest of my children! My parents divorced when I was 4 and I remember my mom packing me up, moving us to another town, getting an apartment and the song we always seemed to hear on the radio and sing was Me and You against the World by Helen Reddy (hey this was the '70's). The song seemed to give my mom strength.
