How often do you have power cuts?

I remember when I was a kid, we seemed to get power cuts every so often but since I have gotten older, they don't seem to be as frequent. We have had planned power cuts in the past, two of which were canceled which then resulted in a huge power surge being shot down the line which blew a lot of technology. I ended up losing my boiler and my daughter lost her Alexa due to that but many others lost so much more including TVs.

We just yesterday had a planned power cut again as they needed to do the essential maintenance.

We don't have them to often. During the spring, summer, and fall we have on and off cuts once in a while. Winter we could lose it for hours with the storms we get.

Never. I’m very fortunate to live in a country where power is available at all times.

Right now, we have power cut in my neighbourhood. It's lasted 2 days without the light being fixed. We are just hoping that it's going to be fixed soon.

I am so sorry to hear this Heatman. Hoping you now have power back, there is nothing worse than losing power and being without it for a while.

I know this past month or so, we have had powercuts in the area, my house was not affected but some my neighbours were, they were unplanned powercuts as well which was even more frustrating.

Hardly ever, though did almost have one about a week ago due to a very heavy snow storm.
