For my Playstation 4, I have 3 sets of the console controller. This is because of how my dog use to be very destructive. The other day, I came back and wanted to play but found out that my controller have been destroyed. I don't know why or how they do it. I had none to play with that night. But now I have spares to keep.
I only have one controller for my Xbox and one controller for my Nintendo Switch. I would like to be able to get another controller for my Xbox so that I have a spare one in case the one I have now ends up either having an issue or breaking on me. We do have a few third-party controllers in the house for spares if they are ever needed but I do prefer official controllers where possible.
I try to get at least two controllers for my consoles, but currently I only have one for my PS5. As for all my other consoles, I have at least one. That way if my spouse and I would like to play games together we can, and when one controller needs to charge I can the other one ready to use.
