These days a lot of parents are trying to homeschool their kids. Some of the reasons why they recommend homeschooling are:
With the rise in school shootings and sexual harassment cases, they believe schools are dangerous places
Education is very expensive and a lot of parents cannot afford school and college education.

Yeah, I agree here. Well, actually, I don't like homeschooling because I think it shelter kids from the real world. However, the real world now is just too dangerous this year and I don't think it will change soon.

Homeschooling kids might not be the best option as that will limit the way they socialize with others. This is the point where one need to understand that you get to let your kids go to school, but let them know the type of danger they may meet over there.

Oh, things have changed!! There are homeschooling groups that get together for special assignments, classes, or even field trips. Homeschoolers have the best of all worlds now.

My cousin homeschools her children and I think she's been doing a great job! I do think those who are homeschooled do need other interactions with other children outside their family, but I'm sure there's a community of parents who home school that get together from time to time. There are many resources nowdays that can make home schooling much easier for parents, plus ever since covid happened the rise of home schooling has increased I'm sure.

Education goes far beyond reading ang writing. Interacting and socializing with other kids is also part ot learning as they help to build self confidence. A child that is homeschooled may end up battling with inferiority colmplex or even become an introvert .

I agree with you that education has to do with interacting with the other people too. It is something that is very important to know. I like the fact that you can get to relate better with others by going to school.

I will admit that I have seen a rise in homeschooling even where I live where school shootings and paying for education is not a big issue for us as we have schools funded by the government. A lot of the reasons why many will turn to homeschool are either due to bullying that is never dealt with like it should be or due to violence with things like pocket knives being brought into the school and not being detected. In England, UK though in some cases it may cost someone more to home-school their child than send them to a school so as much as it does happen, it is very rare. I can understand why parents would want to home-school their children but without that outside interaction, I feel the child could miss out on so much not going to school.
