Where is everyone doing their shopping this year? Last year I did all of it online since I didn't have wheels.

This year I have wheels but they're on the fritz (again) so I'm shopping online again. A majority of my shopping loot went to Amazon and a little to Wal-Mart. I put an order through to King Size for me from mom.

Last year I realized how much I didn't miss shopping in the stores. Outside of electronics stores I'm not a shopping kind of guy. I know what I want, get in, find it, and pay. That doesn't lend itself to much browsing. ;)

Are you shopping in the stores, online, or both?
 
I hate shopping in stores, so my wife does it all! I try to get what I want on-line!
 
Last year I tried to do the support the town thing and shop locally. Surprisingly I found a majority of gifts at the local Ranch and Home Supply. They had in a lot of fun toys that were animal/farm related. And how can you go wrong with tools and accessories?

The crowd/traffic thing isn't worth it to me. If they don't have it locally, we go on line. The Amazon Warehouse is about 30 miles away so for us that is "local." Except the stuff we order usually comes from the Texas warehouse or somewhere else instead.
 
I have no one to buy for but me. So I bought a laptop on ebay for $149.25. It's a touchscreen toughbook model. I also bought the Compuhost kiosk.
 
normally finish shopping black friday as a team sport....not this year however...most bought online and some really great deals at CVS drugstore....go figure:winkpill:

haha. I've always love to receive cash but for me it never works out. I start chipping away at the cash putting gas in the car, buying little junk, and never seem to actually buy myself a gift.

The last year or so I've cut down on where I use my credit card online after a friend got his card high jacked to the tune of 5k after shopping at an unscrupulous site. He got all his money back but it was a major headache. The only people who get my CC card now is Amazon, Newegg, GoDaddy, and Wal-Mart everything else goes through Paypal or a reloadable Visa.

Even if something is a few dollars more at Amazon I'll buy from there.
 
I do most of my shopping walking through my town and visiting the small stores. This year I also did some catalogue shopping on line as well.

What I do for fun is after I'm all done, on the early part of Christmas Eve, I go to the mall, stand on the highest level with a ****tail, and and look down at all of the crazy people...:laughpill:
 
ooooooooooooo come on people...you all know the only place to shop is your local Chinese Wal-Mart....it has all you need....

Well am starting the Christmas shopping, bought one gift so far. What type of gifts do twelve year old girls appreciate, without spending mega dollars? My limit is $100.00 on my daughter.
