:help:

I have tons of milk to use and hope CW has some new ideas.

I've made pudding, biscuits and gravy, and soup. Plus we've had too many cookies and milk snacks.

For the first time ever I have milk in the freezer..but no more room in there.

looks like we might need to add coffeemate to your post, lol.
Even I have been eating cereal every morning to use up milk.

How about a quiche...milk ,a few of those free eggs and maybe some kraft cheese?

Real pumpkin pie

2 c cooked pumpkin (15 oz can puree should work)
1 1/4 c milk
2/3 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
prepared crust

Preheat oven to 425. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Pour into prepared crust (9" pan). Bake for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional hour or until a skewer comes out clean.

It looks so liquidy when you put it in the oven so that you think it will never set... but it does, it makes a delicious pie.

Hot cocoa

1/3 c cocoa powder
1/2 c sugar
pinch salt
1/3 c boiling water
3 1/2 c milk
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 c sweetened whipped cream or mini marshmallows, optional

Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Mix in boiling water, bring mixture to a boil. Continue to cook and stir for 2 minutes. Very gradually stir in the milk and heat but do not boil. Remove from heat; ad vanilla and cream or marshmallows.

This also makes a delicious cafe mocha-type drink when mixed 1:1 or 2:1 with strong hot coffee.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

1 c flour
1 c cornmeal
2/3 c sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 tsp baking pwd
1 egg, beaten
1 c milk
1/3 c shortening/oil/melted butter

Preheat oven to 400. Grease an 8x8 pan. Mix dry ingredients together; add wet ingredients. Stir until moistened. Pour batter into pan. Bake 20-25 min or until a skewer comes out clean.

These are two yummy lasagnas that use a lot of milk - a little labor intensive. I think they're worth the work...

If your milk is 2 percent or whole you can add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice and let it sit 10 min to become buttermilk, then you can make pancakes or waffles (which call for a lot of buttermilk). It doesn't work as well with skim.

I'd bring some to church and give it out or give it to the neighbors or Freecycle it before it expires. :)

I've given several gallons away to struggling families I work with. It's amazing how people look at me crazy when I offer it to them even though I have given dry goods to them in the past.

I loaded up my favorite family with milk and several boxes of cereal. The mom called to say kids wanted cereal for lunch as well as breakfast. I know my DS can eat a box of cereal in 2 days.

I don't attend a church but I promise I will not let milk go to waste. So many families struggling.
