Etsy is a great marketplace for independent sellers to create and sell the goods they make. Have you ever bought anything from Etsy or do you even sell anything from Etsy at all? I have bought a few things from there in the past.
I like it because it's a really big marketplace where you can find all kinds of really cool things that people make at home and it's often one of a kind things that can't be replicated like in mass produced large shops. I find the quality can vary but it's great for special gifts.
I have used Etsy and sold a few items through Etsy, selling is quite difficult on Etsy. If you don't spend money on ads, you cannot generate sales, your product will be lost under the heap of similar products. They offer CPC ads and conversion is just 5 percent.
I have used Etsy in the past and have found a lot of great things for great prices there.
Back in the early days of the pandemic, I remember it was difficult to find masks that were suitable to protect you and others when you were out and about before the stores started selling them like crazy. I bought a mask for my kids on there that was great quality fit them perfectly and wasn't too much for them.
My auntie and a friend I have from my content creation work both use Etsy to sell jewellery and wax melts and have done well on there.
