I've never done it but I did find out the last sentence of the last Harry Potter book on the Internet by mistake :(

I do sometimes.
When I get really excited about a book, I might read the last sentence of the book before finishing it, so then I can ponder to myself about how the characters get to that last sentence.

And sometimes, if a book is REALLY boring, then I just skip to the end and read the last paragraph, then I go back to where I was and I hope that the last paragraph gives me some kind of motivation to keep reading the book.

Not intentionally but I always find spoilers when I look up a book first.

Yet, it's really a sign of good story telling when even though I know what's going to happen that it still grips me like I didn't know what was about to happen.
...and usually it's soul crushing, so you'd think I'd be prepared but no, I'm typically not.

Sometimes I've intentionally read the back of the book for the last sentence but it usually just leaves me going like "wut?" so I just forget about it.

I try to avoid reading the back so I can get a pleasant or unpleasant surprise at the end. Although I wish I had for one book which ended 'and then it was dark.' It was such an interesting novel until that.

I used to read the very last paragraph of books I had just gotten, before I even started them and I don't even know why I did this. O.o It was just something I did. xD

It's strange to me that anyone WOULD read the last page of a book before you get to it. I don't think I have ever done that. I like anticipating the end, particularly in the Stephen King books I always read. If I'd ever spoiled the end to one of his books, well, that would just suck.

I've never read the last page first but sometimes I've flipped back and looked at the very last word for no real reason. I hate having a book ruined for me, so I wouldn't want to do it to myself.
