2% doesn't sound like much, but I compared DH's paychecks from last year and this year and it is nearly $100 per paycheck, so around $2600 per year... :faint:
The max it can go up is $2,425.20...I'm sure the $2,425.20 won't hurt you that much making $130,000 a year...you're lucky you're not in Illinois--they raised the rates 2% three years ago so we never really got a perceived benefit from the temporary FICA tax reduction...it's a swift kick to the crotch this year though...**** Illinois.2% doesn't sound like much, but I compared DH's paychecks from last year and this year and it is nearly $100 per paycheck, so around $2600 per year... :faint:

You really need to quit ****ing to a bunch of Illinoisans--$2,425 doesn't even cover most people's first installment of property taxes in Chicagoland...AND we pay sales tax pre-coupon...**** Illinois...DH doesn't make that much and $2,425 is still a big chunk of change. That covers our property taxes for the year. The increase means less in savings or less towards home improvements.

Ah, so that's why my paycheque wasn't what I expected.
I thought it was just the different health plan that did it.
Now I have to go and compare my last two pay stubs to find out where the $$ is going.

Wonder how it affects people that already didn't have any for savings or home improvements.
roots are too deep, but I'd be happy to--I know the best Walgreens in the area (in Manchester).Move?

OK-now I'm lost. I know some of your dh's make a lot, but everyone's seems to have gone up way more than ours (granted ours is weekly). Is it also because we must claim more dependents?
