As I have been reading multiple threads these last couple of days, this country song runs through my head!

I don't hop in those threads and from what I have read it was a hot mess of a misunderstanding and I think the stress of individual lives helped to add fuel to the fire.

I hope that all you snarky ****es can go to a neutral corner and kiss and make up.

for those that never heard it.

Looks like the awfully quiet thread is gone so I want to say my piece. (ETA: must have been a glitch for me, I see it again. sorry)

This is not the first time that disagreements/hurt feelings happened here between major players of CW. By that I mean members who have hang out here for a while and also those who came from the now defunct DAGG.

I would just like to say that IF only rifts between parties are NOT talked about or threads started to dissect the issue(s) in detail, things won't likely get out of hand like it did. We have to keep in mind that when major players are involved, we can't help that others take sides and what started out as a small fire becomes a conflagration. Once members start taking sides, polarization occurs whether we like it or not. Why divide the board when we can be one? Disagreements happen everywhere as long as we live because we're not all perfect. It's part of life so let's deal with it. But if we learn to let others take care of their spats, maybe (most likely), small quarrels don't end up in major fights. I can say this as a parent who handle disagreements between my kids ~ I step back and let them settle any issue on their own provided they don't wring each other's neck.

While it is understandable that when we're emotional, we tend to say (type) things in haste, hopefully, we don't type something we do not really mean and now beholden to execute lest we be called a liar. IOW, let's not make threats we're not sure we will do.

I'm not taking sides here, I've been a member here longer than others and I'm nobody; it just disturbs me to read stuff mentioned that has caused CW's integrity as a board being questioned although people may not say it openly.

Hopefully, we've let off steam and healing now begins.
