Gasoline price going up in the Chicagoland

I heard on the radio that the gasoline price is going up anywhere from 15 cents to 45 cents per gallon due to hurricane Issac this week. According to the analyst, it will come down later in September.

I filled up this morning at 3.99

then drove about 8 blocks down and saw it at 4.45!

When we were in the NW burbs this weekend it looked liked most places were @ $4.06...we drove on fumes the last 20 miles home to get to our friendly Agvantage station where it was $3.65...

I should have filled up when I saw it for 4.19 but the station was kind of crazy.

$3.92 at the Costco in Melrose Park this morning. I got gas last week at $4.06. It was weird to see the price drop while the gas station near me went up by .10 cents to a whopping $4.45! OUCH

Just heard on the news Chicagoland is the highest in the nation. Instead of being the Land of Lincoln we should be the Bend Over State because all the people get is screwed.

Try putting premium in your car! That's what I have to deal with. Cheapest around here is 4.69 for premium.
I use the beater just to use regular at 4.19

I have had 2 people tell me with the price of premium being so high no is buying it so it's old gas and not better for my scooter. Not sure if same advice applies to cars.

This is in Ohio. I heard .10 to .35 increase

today 8:30am it was $3.78 and by 2pm $3.95 I'm so glad I filled up on Friday am at $3.58 Hubby said diesel is $4.07
