Would you like to work as a freelancer or get a job in a company? Or, let me put this question another way around, are you a freelancer or work in a company? I am a freelancer and I have been working as a freelancer for a decade. Freelancing is not financially rewarding work, but freelancing gives you the freedom to work at any time, anywhere.

I'm very comfortable with doing both - working for or in a company and also working as a freelancer. I love having multiple income earning stream because the economy isn't fair now at all. Inflation is making it very difficult to survive.

I do both of them at the moment because I can do it. I work as a cleaner and so, after my cleaning duty, I have the rest of the day to work online.

Job earns you monthly income consistent and freelancing is kind of like limited with the cost and the regular income. It is not easier to make the money with freelancing. As earning stability takes years and we have to work on the small projects to build them to something strong.

You're very much correct with this assessment because there are sometimes when all streams where you make money as a freelancer gets shutdown. I can remember when I was working on Postloop full time and it ended. It was a very bad experience.

Due to my health issues and not being able to head out and work away from home, freelancing and working from home was a better option for me. I have now been working from home as a freelancer for just over a year since taking a break from freelancing back in 2017, back then I did it from 2012 - 2017 before moving to something else for a while.

I prefer to have the freedom of being able to work my own hours and be my own boss, it is so much less stress.

I do freelancing work as I have anxiety and would struggle to work in retail or a business.
I prefer doing freelance work as I can have my own schedule and do my own hours.

The uncertainty that comes with working online only as a freelancer is one of biggest challenges to it. If you don't have your own project going on which pays you whether you're hired to work or not, it's not going to be easy for you as a freelancer.

Working in retail businesses has never been easy. You get to meet all types of people who are piling undue pressure on you. I mean acting in a way that it doesn't help your mental health. This is what freelancing helps to handle at the end.

Both have their pros and cons, but you don't have much of a life with freelancing as you might have to go travel a lot and not able to settle or collect much stuff.

The inconsistency that comes with freelancing jobs is what makes it worst and unreliable in most cases. You don't have any control over when you get job or not and that will affect how you earn most of the time.
