If it comes to VPN, I do use it whenever there's a need for me to make use of it but it's definitely going to be a Paid VPN for me. I'm never comfortable with using free VPN services because they are not reliable. I wouldn't want to have data leaking without my knowledge.
Paid VPNs I feel are much better than free VPNs. If you're using a free VPN then you're the product they're selling, not the VPN itself and I don't want me personal data being bought and sold everywhere. I use NordVPN as they provide a really good service and I think the price is reasonable. I don't think I've even seen a free VPN advertised. I'm curious to know what options exist.
I'm curious to know what kinds of free VPNs are available because I only ever see ads for paid VPN services. I think you should also be careful with using free VPN services as they're probably using your data to sell on for ad purposes I'd imagine rather than getting paid by the users that use them, exactly what was said in the above post.
I am not in dire need of a VPN and I have never really used a VPN. If a situation in future warrants that I use one, I would rather use a free VPN than pay for it.
