Which kind of anti virus software do you use for your computer or laptop or smartphone? Do you make use of free or paid anti virus software? Which anti virus software do you always use? I have been using Avast for years now and it never failed me.

As far as I'm concerned, using a free anti virus software is as good as not using anyone. It can never properly protect your devices against virus attack. This is why I make use of paid anti virus software always.

A friend of mine make the mistake of trusting free anti virus software and it cost him all his life's work because his computer was ruined by virus attack. He lost virtually everything.

I will blame him all day for what has happened to him because I am very sure that he knows that such free antivirus software cannot be trusted completely and he went ahead with it. He can blame only himself. I can't pity him.

I have used free as well as paid anti-virus and I didn't see much difference in terms of protection. The free version works as well as paid version. Currently, I am using the free version of 260 Total Security, and I have never encountered any issues.

The best thing to do against viruses is a good backup. Nothing will protect you 100%.

I use a free version of Avast it hasnt failed me. I like it and have used it for years and have not had issues but I dont go to shady websites either. On the other hand I dont worry about my computer work as much as I worry about real life personal data like credit and cards. I use multiple credit monitors to help protect against fraud.

I use the anti-virus and the firewall built into Windows as I feel that is all I need. I have never had any issues with any malware or viruses coming through. I did in the past use Avast I think it was but I found that it gave me issues with certain things so I moved to just using what was built into Windows after a recommendation and have stayed with that ever since.
