With dad here I've had to make frequent & heavy use of Oust Fragrance-free air freshener or I'd choke to death some days. But it seems I'm almost out of my supply. Shocked to discover the manufacturer has discontinued the product.

Help!! What other unscented or fragrance-free air freshener products are out there that work?

This company sends me emails...I've never tried the product...

Odor-B-Gone not only removes all kinds of pet odors, but it also has literally hundreds of household uses in garbage cans, garbage disposals, musty closets, bathrooms, refrigerator, nursery, sick rooms, sneakers, etc. Any place there’s an unpleasant odor, just spray on Odor-B-Gone and the odor disappears permanently. Odor-B-Gone has no odor of its own, so it kills odors – actually neutralizes odors – rather than only cover them up. Odor-B-Gone is nontoxic, biodegradable, environmentally safe and packaged in a recyclable bottle. Unconditional money-back guarantee.

Light a match?

My Mom used to do that. Didn't help at all. Just added another nasty smell to an already nasty small. Sure, much better Mom. :tap:

I never understood why people do the match thing, the stinky smoke smell from a blown out match is worse than fart smell.

I got it! Buy some Poopourri. It really works and kills well, the smell. Amazon sells it but if you prefer buying in bulk, poopourri.com sells massive bottles.

I forgot all about that stuff. Did you really buy it?

In case anyone forgot...

If you can tolerate the smell for the 2-3 minutes it takes to evaporate, white vinegar works best. It doesn't mask the odor, it kills the germs in the air that cause the odor. Once the vinegar dries, the smell of the vinegar and the original smell are both gone. Just set a spray bottle to the "mist" setting, so it evaporates quickly.

Install an exhaust fan? :9:
There already is an exhaust fan that automatically runs when the bathroom light is on.
Wish I could try it, but the only outlet in the bathroom is up on the edge of the medicine cabinet, no room to plug it in.

Not sure about poo-pourri, you spray a scented oil into the tb? My septic system doesn't deal with oil well.

I could cut cruciferous veggies out of dad's diet, but he loves them & they are very healthy... just stinky. Or it could be his meds? No options really until it warms up & I can open the windows.
