Gizmo had always loved forums—neat, predictable worlds where every word had its place. That’s why he created Forum Flare: a space for discussion, connection, and community.

For a while, everything ran perfectly. Threads buzzed with conversation, members shared their passions, and Gizmo watched proudly as his creation grew. But one night, something strange happened. Threads he hadn’t started appeared out of nowhere. Posts carried eerie messages: “Don’t log in after midnight.”

At 12:03 a.m., a notification pinged—from himself. When he clicked, the familiar layout twisted. Avatars moved on their own, following his every action. Posts typed themselves: “You built us. Now we build you.”

He tried to close the forum, but the screen wouldn’t respond. The threads stretched into a labyrinth, each click pulling him deeper. Forum Flare wasn’t just alive—it was hungry. Somewhere, in the code, Gizmo’s own avatar grinned back.

Some forums are harmless… some watch you.
