I have food allergies on chicken and shrimp. It's kind of sad because chicken and shrimp are my favorites but I can't eat too much because of allergies. When I'm eating a bit much of chicken my skin got red spots so I have to take medicines before it got worse. Then when I'm eating too much shrimp my asthma will attack. Sad life right, that's how my body reacts and I hope I don't have an allergy so I can eat whatever I want.

How about you guys do you have any food allergies? Because if you don't have one you're the luckiest person in the world!

I am allergic from Coconut, which doesn't bother me at all in terms of food as it smells horrible and when i have eaten it when i was younger when they realized i was allergic, it was disgusting lol. :P It does effect me in other ways though, for example, Coconut is in alot of sun creams, etc. (which i cant use). :P

My daughter was allergic to chicken as well. Rashes will appear all over her body right after she ates chicken and she always complains how itchy it was. But since she loves chicken so much, she would ready her medicine beside her always. She also believed that exposing herself more to chicken will lessen her allergy because her body will be immune to it over the time and guess what? She was right. It didn't just lessen the allergy, the allergy totally disappeared.

Is that for real, totally disappeared? Your daughter is so lucky. I can't really eat excessive chicken it worsens my allergy. I've tried that before but it didn't work at all. What I don't like is my head also got rushes if I still continue eating chicken so I have to stop for a bit take a medicine because if I don't do that I'm gonna bang my head to the wall because it's very itchy. Maybe my body is really weak.

I had experienced allergy attacks 3 times but the culprit was not determined. The allergy attacks were spaced by a year so it’s really difficult to identify the cause. My suspicion on the first attack is the tuna sandwich that I ate. My lips got swollen and I thought it was something critical. The physician assured me that the anti-histamine tablet would ease the attack and it did. On the second occasion, there was nothing extraordinary in the food. On the third occasion, that was about 2 years ago, we had seafood. Hmm, it may be the salt in the seafood? Maybe.
