I usually buy Flank Steak for one recipe which requires 2-3 days of marinating...not doing that this time (trying to empty freezer...=P). So I am looking for new recipe and I want to do it in the crockpot, hoping for everyday ingredients since I am running out soon and gonna toss Flank Steak in crockpot when I get back....was thinking about trying this http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/slow-cooked-flank-steak/Detail.aspx

Any recipes you want to share?

I don't use recipes that often (sorry) ... but, I might slice it against the grain, add onion, bell pepper, salt & pepper, chili, and cumin. I guess you'd need some liquid, huh ... a can of tomato (Rotel-style).

Fajitas!

I didn't see this thread until today, but I mix 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 can condensed tomato soup, and 1 pkg dry onion soup mix in a bowl and pour over beef. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

we use flank steak all the time in the summer....remember all those FREE marinade we got last summer (the powder kind) i use it as a dry rub, leave it for 15 mins the add a little oil or spray your grill and grill...dont over cook it or it will get tough....cut it against the grain and the most delicious steak to top salad or pair w/ potato....ok now im gettin hungry again!

I use flank steak for fajitas...only takes an hour to marinade. It's an really easy marinade too. I'll have to find it but all it has in it is garlic, lime, salt, olive oil and cumin.

Thanks everyone =D

For my original post I was really looking for a crockpot recipe since the steak was already thawed and I needed to cook ASAP (since baseball season has started there was no time for grilling...lol) Am deffinately gonna try these on a more relaxed day =P
