Download failed.: Failed to connect to Permission denied

When I try to update WordPress via the auto update, I get the following error:

Download failed.: Failed to connect 66.155.40.250 to Permission denied

I have not changed anything on the server so I don't know why this is happening %7BSMILIES_PATH%7D/icon_question.gif

This is usually due to the host blocking the IP.

If you host with Thexyz Server you can manage your Outgoing Connections via logging into the control panel and clicking the Advanced tab. From here you can manage Outgoing Connections

This feature allows you to specify certain IPs or IP ranges to which you will be able to open outgoing connections.
