No never... Although we are doing a wrestling unit in P.E. (the regular teachers had to go to a confrence so the wrestling coach was called in to cover the class and teach us wrestling(also lets him get his pick of the freshmen he wants for the team)) Its interesting watching people trying to wrestle. So maybe i will start watching it... No i can't my sister has total control of the TV (but I got the computer so she got the bad end of the stick there

I don't have cable anymore so I don't watch it, but I used to be a HUGE fan. I almost never missed a week. Monday and Thursday were for watchin people act like they are beatin the shiznit out of each other.

Wrestling IS very fake. Anybody can be a wrestler...They just need a good bad mouth that's loud. See even me who went to Toy's R Us one day Christmas shopping, picked up a plastic WWF Champion Belt and yelled to a small kid down aisle looking at wrestling figures "If you so much wanna have this belt for the glory of the WWF you'll have to pry it from body while I'm pile driving you for my victory because I say it is so and you'll end up smelling what I'm cooking for dinner..." See, See???

Same here. Started to dislike it when they merged all the minor corps like WCW and that other one.

psi > Your concept of wrestling just blows me away..

I watched wrestling when I was 12. I even collected the trading cards. Had 2 complete sets. :)

I've outgrown it since then. There's just no appeal for me anymore. While the wrestlers are more athletic than the were 20 years ago, the creativity and originality are completely gone. What's taken it's place is, to put it mildly, mindless showmanship for the sake of showmanship.
When I was a kid, wrestling was exciting to watch because you saw these guys doing athletic and acrobatic moves. Now, it's 1 hour of taunting, trash-talking, fireworks, badly choreographed camera angles, and scantily clad women.

I've evolved from Lowest Common Denominator status... wrestling hasn't.

What's your point? Just kidding.

I love wrestling in the early days, so many greats. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant. So many memories. The only one I took to when wrestling became popular was The Rock. What a guy.

I actually was getting fairly fed up with a lot of their story lines. They seased to be well written and they rely too heavily on contraversal subject matter and sex. When it was pure warfare between people who hated eachother and the taunting was funny it was much better.

There seriously are some great wrestlers right now though. I love watching John Cena. He has the best mic skills since the rock, and sometimes I think he is even better then him.

You forgot the epic battles between Andre The Giant and Big John Studd, as well as Hulk Hogan and The Iron Sheik in the first Wrestlemania. ;)

Seriously, that was when wrestling was watchable. I go back even further, when guys like Classy Freddie Blassie and Gorilla Monsoon were wrestling, and when they used to have the awesome stuff that would never fly today, like midget wrestling. Those guys were athletic as all hell, and fun to watch.
