But if we're chatting and I'm being open about something or if we are kissing and he stops to tell me I have stinky breath...I get totally offended. It's stupid cuz I wouldn't want to kiss him with stinky breath, but for some reason I get totally hurt and don't want to continue to talk or kiss or whatever. So dumb of me but that's just me
Spouses tell you because they love you. If they don't tell you, that doesn't mean they don't love you, they know you will be upset....(and put up with the stink, because they love you!)
Be thankful they tell you, not offended.
And after you go and gargle, come back and give him a big-ol-smooch and ask "is that better?" Might lead to something else! :flowers: :sex:
This thread make me laugh a little. My husband has a throw/blanket that he used when watching TV, he would not let me wash it because he said it's delicate and can't be washed too often. Two weeks ago, his parents and brother (who also has very little sense of smell) were over for dinner. BIL lives in VA and is not used to IL cold weather, he looked cold with one throw on him, so I offered him DH's blanket and told him it smelled a little. He asked MIL to smell and their mom agreed it stinked and should be washed. I felt vindicated because DH told me I have bionic nose when I complained the blanket smells bad.
My little brother (mid 20s) lives with my two sisters, they constantly tell him he stinks. My sisters are clean freaks and have acute sense of smell, they also tell my nephew to take a shower all the times.
