Yes, there was way too much media around it. Sure, I mean it's the next person for the throne but for 9 months and staying out the hospital, creepy!

I agree, it was perhaps even more irritable than the Royal Wedding fiasco. People get married every day, and there are births every day. Poor baby may see archived news tapes of this event and will be in shame when he's old enough.

In a way, yes. I personally am not really interested in the subject. No offense to anyone in any way, but I've always disliked the fact that the whole queen and king royal this royal that is still going on in the world, this isn't medieval times. I might just be sour towards the subject because I am not a resident of the UK and I don't know what goes on there, what their customs and traditions are, etc. I'm sure that if I was born and raised in that way my opinion would definitely be different. I hope this doesn't come off as rude, I don't want it to appear that way!

(Also, I was checking my email on Yahoo and accidentally read "Prince of Cambridge" as "Prince of Cabbage". :O_o:)

To quote Lowkey, "Monarchy is inequality, systemic injustice."

I am against the royal family for a number of reasons, though one of the more notable ones would be that they are the polar opposite of what polite society has spent years trying to teach us. To work for what we want. This baby will probably never work a day in its life.

Similarly, everybody flipped out with congratulations and such when he was born. I don't understand that. It's a baby. Big deal. Celebrity or not, it's going to spend the next few years pissing and ****ting on itself.

It was a woman having a baby.
It's very likely that I'll be dead when the baby comes to power, so it doesn't effect me at all - even if it wasn't that way I probably still wouldn't care enough to camp outside the hospital and such.

Well it was like the future king of the country so idk

But I guessed the gender and the name right I felt so amazing I'm ngl ;D
Tbh I didn't even guess it was like I already knew, had this feeling inside me. Maybe I'm a psychic.

To be honest, I didn't even know that Kate was pregnant till I heard it on the radio like a day after the baby was born... I'm so patriotic it's unreal.

You're not alone. I only found out when she was in the hospital giving birth.

I think you have heard the news very late and Kate pregnant was confirmed long time ago and she birth her baby last week so its not media mistake that they post news late but you know about that to much late and Will and kate royal baby name is trending in the world now.

I was just fed up of turning on the TV and hearing the baby's sex and weight over and over and over and over again.

Yes, it was discussed way too much! I don't even live in the UK and I was hearing about it all the time. That's crazy! It's not like royal family even matters anymore. Why some people care so much about a random rich family? Well, they are free to care, but why make it huge news and expect other people to care?
I kinda feel bad for Kate; I can't imagine being pregnant and then giving birth and trying to raise a child with so much pressure, gossip and noise around.

That's par for the course when you're obsessed with the royal family.

(Kate apparently had posters of prince William in her university dorm room)

I guess it depends on who you are. I know that some people felt like the coverage of the royal baby was way too much. But there are also those who wanted this news. I have to admit that I fall into the category of wanting the coverage. I guess it has to do with the fact that I remember when Prince William was a baby himself, so seeing him now as a father was something that meant a great deal to me. But I also admit that it was a sad moment because his mother Princess Diana wasn't there to share in his joy.

Yes! Sorry if I offend anyone but.. I do not care about this baby.. at all. Babies are born everyday.. makes no difference to me and my life. A woman? Producing a baby? How interesting! ... naaat! Now, if Kate produced something other than a baby.. then I'd be interested. :3

He's being talked about more now than he was while Kate was pregnant, in my opinion. I didn't even know they were expecting until last knockings.

Yes i agree.. the Royal Baby was talked about too much.. Whenever i start to see something interested in news I heard all about a royal baby on the news that is reason why i changed the channel...
