I have come to realize that most musicians are lovers of tattoos and it goes to the level where they all abuse their body with. I can't get over how Lil Wayne had all his body covered with tattoos. It looks disgusting to me.
I don't agree much to that because there are some things that should be considered when health is involved. Is it 100% healthy for them to do all that? I don't think so.Well, everyone is entitled to their own lifestyle choices and it isn't in our place to dictate to them how they choose to live, just like some people drink excessively and abuse alcohol, or some are excessive smokers or chronically addicted to sex, these are all vices, but we should all try to live right and don't do anything that could end our lives shortly.
I'm not actually against them having tattoos but when it's too much, it's doesn't pass good message to young people watching all of their music videos. They are just living the lifestyle that suits their industry. Just like it is rare to see a banker that has his or her body tattooed, that is the same way most of the guys in music have to blend in to what is obtainable in the music industry.
My issue is that kids misunderstand a lot of things. Adults might use it as a means of expression but kids wouldn't grasp it in the same manner. They will end up just doing it for fun and over do it.A lot of people use tattoos as an expression of feelings/experiences/memories. Its like their personal area gallery. I don't think anyone can really judge what other people do to their bodies as it is their body and their decision with what they do. I don't think anyone can tell someone their tattoos are abuse to themselves, as its for them to decide what they like. I personally would never get a tattoo and am not a fan of them but I don't pass judgment to others if they have them
Well they are musicians, they abuse everything and I'm pretty sure most get tattoos when they are too high to realize what they are doing.
Some got it as a result of peer pressure and the urge to belong. They want to look like Lil Wayne or be called the next Eminem. So, they tag along that kind of act most of the time.
A place to debate everything and anything!
