I don't think higher education is a must for everyone, however, I believe everyone should be at least a high school graduate, preferably a college graduate. When I say higher education, I mean having an MBA or equivalent degree, or even a doctorate degree. I believe not everyone can excel in education, and not everyone is interested in academic pursuits.

In the USA at least, higher education is a rip-off in a big way, in a sense. Well, the trades can pay more than a college degree in many subjects. In addition. learning trades is a lot cheaper than going to a university or college.

However, though, the higher education experience might be something everyone should experience, but it doesn't have to be tied with your career. It's possible to take courses just for the "love of learning".

In most countries, you can have a long and fulfilling career with a high school diploma and on-the-job training in quite a number of professions.

Depending on what career path you choose though, you might need a university degree or an advanced degree.

I don't think higher education is a must, but it is not bad,I mean we live in an environment where you are judged by how far read or learned you are, your level of education determines the respect you will be accorded.

I think that higher education is important if you are going in to sciences, technology, engineering and management related courses. Most other courses can be studied through apprenticeships and internships. In most western societies blue collar workers make more than white collar workers with a few exceptions. They are also not burdened by high tution fees and school loans.

Education shouldn't be only linked with making money. Sadly, these days people try to link education with making money. Education means learning. Learning means you understand certain things. Of course money matters, but knowledge also has great importance in life.

The importance of education cannot be overemphasized and it is good you have some level of education to stay relevant in the society.

Not everyone is interested in making it via academics. So, getting an MBA is never a must since one can achieve greater things in business as long as you understand the rudiments of such business that you are doing.

Getting a higher education isn't always for everyone and I don't think it's essential that you should get a higher education if you do not want to. As long as you have completed the highest level of school and taken any exams you needed to before leaving school that may be enough and you may be able to get by without needing higher education. Many people want different things in life and have different career paths. Depending on your career path depends on whether you are willing to take on higher education.

I think that getting any form of education is very important. You can be able to work on some many things that you wish to work on while getting better at it. This is what education does to any human being.
