Sometimes I just love to sleep in - which means I'd get up at 1pm or 12 PM, but lately I haven't been doing that. I've been maintaining a good 8 to 9 hours sleep schedule.
Yup that's me all the way. If I don't have anything to do, no matter how hard I try, I'm unable to fall asleep before 3-4 am which means I sleep until 1-2pm. It's just the way I've always been.
When I have something important to do early I either go about my day really tired or take a couple of Benadryl to help me fall asleep the night before.
It is funny though some times I just pop out of bed at like 4 or 5am this is usually after pulling an all nighter and crashing the night before at 7. When I'm up that early I feel so productive then around 2 in the afternoon I'm bored out of my mind.
I usually try for 7+ hours even when at school, but when I'm on break or it's the weekend and I don't have to get up early, I often stay up until 3 or 4 and sleep until 1pm...so, to answer the question: yes.
Ya, I used to get up every day at 4:45 AM when I worked 12 hour shifts for an OIL company. I was so tired when I got off work, but the money was pretty good there.
@Big Dan Can't say I pull all nighters that much anymore, but they are fun because when I do it, I listen to music and pimp my creative juices.
I would of liked sleeping in today
Was up late last night working on bookmarking accounts, then my boy woke up at 7:30 this morning ready to go.
I normally sleep in on weekends but it's funny because I'd rather get up a bit earlier as I find I'm more creative in the morning. Plus it would mean more time in the day.
I like sleeping in general, haha. The older I get, the more sleep becomes such a beautiful thing :D
However, running 30 forums (that doesn't include other websites), being a full time manager of a security department and being a full time PhD student, sleep....rare!
I guess I'm just a lazy person (or depressed, one of the two)
Sometimes I can sleep until 5 in the afternoon and STILL be tired when I finally wake up; of course this is usually when I have stayed up until 7 or 8 in the morning and my mind finally lets me crash.
Often times, I have a condition called episodic insomnia; which means I can go to sleep but I can't stay asleep; when this happens I can't sleep more than 4 and a half to 5 hours at the most.
Like it????? I love it..... I have always hated the wake up process. Takes me at least an hour to get out of bed in the morning. Getting up before 8am is just not an option for me..... I hate it. If I get up before 8am I will need a nap by 4 ish....
I've done it on occasions. But honestly, I don't really like doing it.
When you find yourself waking up at noon or in the late afternoon, you miss part of the day. And that sort of plays on your mind. Then by time evening hits and you're energized like the day is just about to start, you realize you're the ONLY one feeling that way because everyone else is ready to turn in or get ready to do their end of the day routines.
I always say I am going to sleep in and I never do. I would love to wake up some morning at noon or something but I haven't done that in ages. As you get older you fall asleep earlier and get up earlier. I never believed it but it is so true.
