I personally would prefer to have one child per birth, but if I had twins, triplets or more at once, of course I'd still love them just the same :P
Anyone here specifically want twins etc? :P

Oh my god I really want twins, I think it would be so cute seeing them growing up together and stuff :D

Though I hate it when you see twins (that are the same gender) and their parents dress them the exact same... like they're 2 different people not clones >_>

I wouldn't like to be a twin but I wouldn't mind having them. Considering I'll have to adopt my children I doubt I'd ever have twins as a surprise though :P

Aww id love to have twins, triplets is a bit too much but if I was ever to have triplets and I wouldn't mind, I'd be happy that I was graced with 3 beautiful children.

At this time, I'm going to have to say no. Having twins I believe automatically puts your pregnancy at higher risk, not to mention you'll have to go through childbirth twice in a short period of time.
Then there's the whole raising them. Now, I'm not saying they won't be a thrill to raise or anything, but it would be twice as expensive, the sleep deprivation would double, and it would just be twice as difficult. Not to mention they'd have to share their birthdays, which I've heard can cause quite a bit of drama. The good thing about having twins though is that if you were planning to only have two children, you'd only have to go through pregnancy and childbirth once and have it over with. Secondly, having two children in close age range or in this case, the same age range, would be good for developing their social skills. Not to mention they'd have someone they were really close to, since I've heard twins can have some special connection.

There are pros and cons to both, but personally I would prefer to have one child at a time. I know that I would be scared enough being pregnant with one baby, finding out there was two in there... Well, I don't know what I'd do.
But I'm not saying that if I were to ever have twins I wouldn't love them. I'd love them with all my heart. It's just that I would rather have one at a time for various reasons. Thankfully I don't have to worry about this at the moment. xD

I really want kids but I don't know if I would want more than one at a time lol, I really don't think I could handle them. We will see what the future brings. :)

Oh hell no!! One child at a time is PLENTY, thanks!! My Son is 24 years old now, and thinking back on what it was like to raise him, I'd go stark raving mad having to deal with more than one baby.
I mean, it's a nice thought for some, I guess. But knowing what I know now, not only would it be incredibly difficult and stressful, I wouldn't be good at it, and raising a child the right way is one of the most important jobs a person will ever have.

Yes, we have always a dream of having twins. Thanks to the IVF treatment that help us in accomplishing our dream. Having twins is a beautiful experience; however, I agree that raising them might be joyous as well as challenging too. It's important for all mothers to overcome the fears and addresses main concerns to fulfill their needs.

Twins usually run in the family and sometimes it might skip a generation or two. My mom thinks I was a twin and the baby died in the womb because she had some bleeding early on in the pregnancy. I wanted a twin because I had been obsessed with twins all my life and never knew about my potential twin until I got pregnant. And I really wanted my child to be twins! But once I had my baby, I was really relieved that she was a single child. It would have been so difficult for me because she didn't sleep very often and it was expensive raising her.

I know that twins run in my family. I have had 4 kids myself and never had any twins, they were all born separately. If though I did ever end up falling pregnant with twins or triplets I would 100% go through with the pregnancy and love them just as much as I do my other 4 kids. Would it be tough? Of course but it would be worth it.

I would not have minded having twins. Perhaps less for the whole "twin" factor, but more so due to them being able to grow up at the same ages and occupy each other throughout life.

As long as they don't get so attached that they don't hang out with other kids too!
If one were to get possessive of the other, it could cause an unhealthy dynamic.
Do I ever want to have any kids?
Do I ever want to get married?
And so, I ask myself the same question. :D
