Well, I'm asking this because some people seem to be in love with the iPads, iPods, iPhones, and all the other various phones. Personally, I'm in love with my iPod and I don't see myself getting a Kindle or a new smartphone.

How about you?

No I do not, I have the first generation iPod and that suits me well, I don't need some high tech device to listen to music.

Negative!

I wait until all the bugs have been worked out :) I buy things about 3 new versions behind... Sadly, I just upgraded to an HD computer, like a month ago. I can't believe I waited this long, the picture is so much better as I watch TV shows and movies primarily on my PC :p

I sometimes feel as if I am an old man trapped in a 20 something year old's body haha!!!

I wouldn't say "ALL",
For what gets my attention I'll consider purchasing it like the Nintedo Wii U which I'll be building a website for their games soon, ;)

Same here if I wish to use it for everyday things, ;)

Not all of it, but definitely some of it. For example, if I bought the iPhone 4 a month before the 4S came out, I wouldn't of bought the 4S.

If I had enough disposable income I'd buy all the latest gadgets but I don't, lol.

I try to purchase things that are going to last me at least 3 years even if they become old tech. If it's still functional I don't need to update every generation.

For MP3 players, I have an iPod touch which is used more as a PDA and portable game machine than anything. It rarely leaves the house, it's so expensive I'm afraid to drop it or something. My main MP3 player is a 4 year old Creative Zen, I love it. It is a little quirky but works great. In the winter I normally have a 'disposable' MP3 player a $20-$30 Sansa from Woot which I use in the cold and rain.

My cell phone I've been upgrading relatively frequently only because Straight Phone finally came out some decent smart phones. The Nokia E5 I just got will stay with me for a few years though.

An attachment is developed to the gadgets you are using and it is not in my habit to change it very often. But the technology updates compel you to leave the old one and migrate to new. If not for the Chinese flooding the market, there would not have been such rush to new appliances (ie. cost-wise)
