Can't access documents sent to me via Google Drive

When people send me links to documents that are in google drive I can't access them no matter how I try. I've tried dedicating one browser to only my main gmail account (and no other gmail accounts that I have). I then open up my xyz email in that browser and try to access g-drive but without any success. I thinking that it's because if someone sends google drive docs to the xyz email it won't work? And forwarding the email from my xyz to my gmail doesn't work.

Do you know of anyone else having this issue and maybe solving it??

I have never had the same issue with this at all. All of the one's sent to me always opens well and I also have the Google doc application where I can open the file with. Using Google doc app works a lot better and gives a better experience than using browser.
