Can you drop out of school to start a business?

Going to school is very important especially when you don't only need the knowledge, but the certificate in order to get employed at a firm. However, when you get the opportunity to start a business while at school, can you quit school to start the business?

Yeah I can do that, if the business requires my one hundred percent attention and going to school might be a distraction. But I would certainly finish my college degree when I can comfortably combine my business my schooling.

I wouldn't drop out of school to start a business. Instead, I would change from full-time studies to part-time.
I would rather start the business on a small scale and expand as soon as I was out of school.
Nowadays, most businesses can be done alongside other businesses or schooling.

It is great that you have the mindset of returning back to complete the education. That is very important because having money as a businessman without completing school doesn't make much sense.

I cannot drop out of school to start a business. There is no guarantee that business will succeed, but if I finish my education with grades there is 100 percent certain that I will get an emplpyment. I can even start a business later on.

No matter what, education is still very important. You don't go to school just to acquire certificate but also knowledge. I will rather go to School and do the business along side.

If you're asking if it's possible, the answer is yes. Look at Steve Jobs, he dropped out of college and went on to create one of the most successful companies in the entire world. There have been several other successful business owners drop out of college and create a successful businesses.

The Tech World has not made it possible for anyone to drop out of school and still become somebody in life.

I would never advise quitting school to start a business but maybe continue school whilst building up the business if you can. You never know when something may go wrong and a business, can either be successful or it can flop. If you leave school to start a business and it flops then you are left with the only option but to try and start another business again if you have an idea for one due to dropping out of school. If you stay in school you have that still in your pocket to fall back on.
