Anyone else played it yet?
I set it up last night, and just went to check to make sure it was working, then I was going to bed. 3 hours later, I had to pry the controller from my deformed claws.
In a word: awesome.
It's engaging from the get-go, and grabs a hold of you. It's exactly the opposite of everything you'd want in a racing sim, which is what makes it so fun. Pure speed isn't the object... recklessness and bravado is. You get bonuses for driving on the wrong side of the road, having near misses with traffic, power sliding, and demolishing your opponents vehicles and forcing them off the road. IOW, you get supremely rewarded for driving with reckless abandon.
More than anything, it's just fun to play.
