Breaking wind in front of your partner

Do you think it's something that comes with time and comfort, or should it never happen? On the other hand, is it okay to do it from the get go?

How long did it take you to do it first? Or hasn't it happened yet?

Embarrassed faces all around. Lmao I always find this subject amusing, some couples don't do it after decades of marriage!

I'm the kinda guy who farts without fear during exams, and then chuckles about it for 5 minutes. That's with 20 people in the room sitting silently, where the sound can be heard from 15m away, over the tapping and clicking of pens. So... yep.

It would be rather shallow of a girl to dump me because I fart frequently and find it amusing. If that ever happens... in the long run, it will be worth the loss.

Back when I was younger, after about a year my boyfriend was really pissing me off one day, so I farted on him. :leleleplz:

But any other partner, I have avoided it at all costs. Although I have a friend who would fart when he walked somewhere, stepping slightly heavier to try and cover it up.

Time and comfort, but not THAT much time.
I mean, if you've been with you partner for any significant amount of time, and you're comfortable enough to get naked and have sex with them, you should be comfortable enough to fart or burp around them too.

If someone does it from the get-go, I might think they're a bit rude. I mean, how do I know they won't obnoxiously do it at a completely inappropriate time?

Dan and I started farting around each other about a month after we started dating. It actually turned into a dutch oven war one night at his parents house over christmas break when I went to visit his family for new years the first time.
