Best place to buy artificial tree...?

This is the first year we will be putting up a tree in 5 yrs. I've been looking for one for a couple of weeks...I can't believe how expensive they are. Has anyone seen anything out there I may have missed?

If I can't find anything before this weekend, I'm going to get a $40 6.5 pre-lit from Walmart and then try to get a good deal on one after Christmas.
 
We got ours at Menards. It was expensive not pre-lit and it comes in three pieces so it's easy to put together but it was $125. OUCH

I just thought about Target last year they started clearing the trees out way before Christmas. Check their site. HTH
 
There were some good deals for Black Friday Home Depot had a martha Stewart 7.5 pre lit with 2,000 tips for 59.99. By the time I saw it they were out of stock. I'm going to look after Christmas.
 
Check the resale stores in you area, I've seen some really nice ones, and that's where I got my 12' tree 5 years ago, everyone thinks its real!
 
I like the idea of a live tree for this year then you can be ready to get a nice long lasting tree after Christmas.
 
The tree I just bought for $45 at Walmart my sister walks in and says family dollar has that same tree for $25. Wth!!! Ugh. I wanted to get a tree so bad so I bought it, I had to borrow one from a friend last year hoping to get the one I wanted after Christmas. Obviously those things sell fast as I was without a tree until now.
