When I was much younger I wrote alot. I did make a few attempts. I did manage to get a poem published. That concludes the extent of my literary exploration.
Only once, when I worked in a secondhand store pricing stuff and came across one. I went into an impromptu version of "I'd Do Anything", from the musical Oliver, acting the part of The Artful Dodger, of course.
Im like a superhero to little kids. I provide endless hours of facination and wonder. Sometimes even horrible nightmares for weeks! (just kidding about the last one...maybe )
Have you ever mistaken your pc mouse for a cell phone or your cell phone for your mouse?
Man, you make me laugh! No, but for the life of me I don't know why. My big problem is my remotes--I have like 3, and then if I lay my cell phone down with them at some point the phone rings or I need to change the channel or go to netflix or something and my hand just hovers over all the remotes and cell phone, wondering which one I should pick up...
Big-time early morning riser. I'm usually the first one up when we go camping, too. Nothing beats watching the sun rise with a big mug of irish breakfast tea in your hand the campfire warming your butt. I remember being the only one up one morning and it was so still in the area we were camping in; birds were starting to sing, but that's about it. I watched a bald-headed eagle catch thermals and soar in a circle, lazily, up, up, up, until he topped the mountain and was gone. One of the most serene moments in my life.
When was the last time you sang like no-one was listening?
Indeed I can. I had a fashion period a few years ago where I always wore a man's tie, so I got pretty good at it. But if I have to knot a man's tie for someone else I have to make them take it off and put it around my own neck to do it right:rolleyes:.
What's more important to you--the fact or the communication of the fact?
Less than once. I'm just not a phone person. I have it clipped to my jeans belt-loop all day because clients need to get in touch with me once in a while, and sometimes between job and family it never stops ringing, but I would say 5 days a week I look at it maybe three times in the day.
Because my job is quite physical, I have to keep my fingernails short (plus I keep catching them on the upper letter register of the keyboard when I type which drives me nuts), so I clip, then file. Even though they're very short I like them to have an oval shape.
That's an interesting question. I have an old-fashioned analog. We used to have kiosks in the mall where you could buy a watch like mine for ten bucks; I'd use it until it quit, which was usually two or three years, then go and buy another one, kinda like a disposable watch. (Expensive watches quit on me for some reason.) But the other day I realized I couldn't see any kiosks at any of the malls any more, so maybe they're truly on the way out. Rats!
