No vegetable garden here.. People do grow vegetables here, but very tiny gardens. Our season to short will have snow by the end of October if not sooner. Our weather is unpredictable. Homebody you sound like you love to cook. My favorite holiday spot is one that I haven't had yet. I think it would be in a really big city in a luxury hotel with a private pool and room service. Then visiting art galleries and museums and other such things in the city.

You sound like you love to cook too! My favorite herb is fresh thyme--you can use it even in sweet applications. But it can be a pain to strip the leaves to get enough. I grow my own. My favorite spice is cardamom, simply because I don't get to use it very often and I love the scent.
