When I was younger my mum and grandma always used to make coffee for me and they would make it in so many different ways and I still was unable to drink it due to the bitter taste that I would get. I eventually just got used to the fact that I didn't like coffee and stuck with tea and water.
Last year though my mum had some coffee syrups that she was no longer using and she gave them to is, my daughter made a mocha iced coffee with the syrup and let me try it and I was amazed at how good it tasted, no bitter taste. Since then I have been drinking iced coffees and now just recently, also have warmer coffees which are mocha lattes as well with the coffee syrup and I am finally able to now drink coffee without any issue.
