Adoption

To be honest I'm not sure I could.
I'd adopt if I found out I was incapable of having children but otherwise I'd much rather have my own :P
 
Well I'd like to be married before doing so, which is unlikely but I wouldn't be able to take care of a kid by myself anyway, but I'd like to adopt one day. Ideally around the ages of 3 to 5, at least up until I'm 30 - after which I'll probably up my age range some.
I really want kids but due to a variety of reasons, both personal and medical, I doubt very seriously I'll ever conceive naturally and I'm too much of a cheapskate to spring for surrogacy. The only way I'll ever have biological children is if I'm finally able to donate my eggs one day like I want to, so some other woman can get pregnant. But it would only be on a biological level, obviously, they wouldn't actually be mine - although I'd sign up on a donor registry site in case they ever wanted to know who I was.

But I wish I could find more clear info on adoption costs. I hear it can rage from next to nothing all the way to $40,000 depending on the method and if it's domestic or local.

*sigh*
Anyway, yes I'd love to adopt. But only when I'm ready. Right now I can barely take care of myself, let alone another human being, so it probably wont happen for a while.
 
I would love to one day adopt a child and give it the life it deserves. The reason why I would like to adopt is because so many kids are waiting to be adopted and to be loved but not enough people are adopting so a lot of children go from foster home to foster home and never really get to have a family or feel like they can trust anyone or get close to anyone because in a few months they'll have to move again. I'd love to give a child the chance it deserves to be successful in life and to grow up to make a change in the world in a positive way.

Unfortunately though, adoptions are really expensive and not only that but most child agencies who are putting kids up for adoption don't allow or don't like to let people who can conceive their own child adopt. :/

But yes I would like to adopt in the future (like far future haha)
 
I'm definitely adopting children.
I've always wanted to find a child who didn't have a family and give them a forever home. :)
Of course, I would still have one of my own children, but I would also want to adopt.
 
I'd consider adopting only if I couldn't have a child of my own. I'm the kind of person I suppose who'd like to experience the whole miracle of life from the start? However I wouldn't dare to have a child, whether I have it myself or adopt, until I am married with the person I know I'd like to spend the rest of my life with.
