What's new

A puppy thread of my very own

Thanks for the update! I have my fingers crossed for you.

She is just adorable :)

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I'm going to try to scale the excitement back a little bit until I find out for certain if she's gonna be part of the family. Not likely to work but I'm gonna give it a go.

Should I start knitting booties?!*

*Note to BF: Do you know how to knit? And, if so, can you teach me quick-like?!

Sure - might want to leave a bit of space for the toe nails since they seemed a bit long.

I hope BF can be of some help with directions. :giggles:

She looks so cute! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you!

I spoke with both of my references and they promise to make me look like a modern day St. Francis. :giggles:j/k

My neighbor thinks I'm a bit nuts but then again she's probably right.

This is the little gal I'm hoping to adopt -

This pic reminds me of when my Monroe (pit bull) was a puppy! She was 1 of 12 puppies and they were so crowded in the womb that some of the pups had slight deformities. Monroe has a kinked ear and whenever she gets excited or raises her ears, her one ear folds up like this or just shoots straight up in the air - we call it her "bat ear."

 bat ear

You know we like dog pics, right? I especially have a soft spot for pitbull pics. Feel free to post some of Monroe (very nice name for a dog!)
