So I just read on fb that 2 men escaped the south loop jail and were last seen in tinley park.the inmates family lives next door to st George church.why have they not notified residents,by automated phone to lock your doors etc.sorry I can't copy and paste but its in the south town star also.
 
I so thought this was going to be about people escaping the mental facility in Tinley Park.

Hope they find them quickly and put them back where they belong
 
If you listened to WGN you would've known about this for a couple hours now. :)
 
I don't watch wgn in the morning because I am stuck watching phineas and ferb,shake it up and anything else on Disney.the principal of the school right next door to the inmates parents was also not notified.
 
Put TV's in the kids' rooms. ;) There's 4 people and 5 TV's in our house. :hides:

I don't watch tv during the day anymore, but have the radio in the kitchen on starting at 7am and I turn it off around 5ish to watch some tv. :)
 
I just posted this because after what just happened last week you would think they could use all outlets to inform people.they can use automatic calling for other things but not for 2 armed and dangerous men.my grandmother and elderly aunt live down the street and where not aware at all.Mrs mom,I clean house in the morning and watch some shows with my five yr old until she gets on the bus so that's why I found out later lol

I know, right! Yes, it is sad that the neighbors were not clued in.

And the guy went to jail for stealing $4,000 from MB Financial in Homewood with a bb gun! And he worked at a strip club.
 
Great..so the day I have to really commit to getting my decorating done, inside and out I could have had a criminal walk up to my house while I'm outside? I did not get on CW or email this morning to keep my addention deficit at bay...no, I'm not diagnosed, just a mom.

Yes she does :surrender: I was actually picking up gift cards before the streets were closed. I haven't heard from the school, but did get the auto message. It doesn't say where anything is/was, just that there are two escaped men. I am impatiently waiting as I listen to the helicopters going around. There also was a funeral mass going on so it will be interesting at pick up which can't come soon enough. These two sound like they are dangerous too.
 
So, both my mom and sis are in TP - and my nephew is in school there. My mom picked him up and said there were cops outside. Get this - I went to school with one of the guys - Ken Conley. The house they had swat at was 175th 6600 - so right around Oak Park Ave. My mom said she couldn't get back to the house cause Oak Park was closed down
