    Goalie nets

    I think that implementing a larger net would not do anything, as goalie equipment sizing would just go up to counter this. I think what the league should do is to reduce the sizes of the equipment that goalies are allowed to wear. When standing up, they practically cover the entire thing.

    Sports Media!

    A combination - I read the sports from papers, and then check up on Yahoo sports, and then finally on TSN (television). TSN is usually the most informative because they sometimes analyze and highlight certain plays that I miss, and their Top 10 is always entertaining as well.

    If you could choose an athlete to...

    I would want to play as a linemate of Wayne Gretzky or Sidney Crosby - their on ice vision is just incredible, I would be scoring goals even though I can barely stop with hockey skates.

    What is the best sporting event that you have ever attended?

    Going to season opening game for the Canucks vs. Calgary Flames would be the best sporting event I've ever been to. Granted that I haven't been to many, but this was opening season, and we won with a whopping 6-0!

    fans throwing snowballs

    Soccer fans need to be more disciplined. I have never heard of any other sport who's fan's threw items down at the players/ playing field other than soccer, and the only other item that's thrown is usually a shirt, or a hat. All the soccer leagues should implement a fine for anything thrown...

    So it's back to normal for the 49'ers. They chased Manning, so Smith went elsewhere... but they didn't land manning, so Smith goes back. I wonder if they adjusted the contract after he met with other teams...

    Favorite Hockey Player Currently in the NHL?

    ^Though I do have respect for Messier, I heard that he was just absolutely terrible for the Canucks. He bombed as a Canuck, and recently, he had a dispute about his contract. Again, with no disrespect meant at all, he was a great player, but just not in the eyes of any Canucks fans.

    Hopefully Manning will still adopt and introduce his "no-huddle" offense to the offensive line of Denver. It'll also be interesting to see how he adjusts to being surrounded by a completely new team.

    Milk has casein protein as well as whey protein - casein is slow absorbing protein and whey is fast acting protein. This is a really basic fact as to why it's better than sports drinks. Sports drinks usually have like 30g of sugar per 250mL and maybe 2g of protein. Milk though, has 10g per 250mL...

    Mental toughness is what sets average people apart from legendary people. You have to endure all the pain, all that criticism, and if you work hard for it, it'll reward you for your efforts.

    The Rock is not that great of an actor (in Hollywood), but he draws crowds due to his fame. Not many people watch WWE, so there's less recognition there.

    In a way, this is true. He has always held an advantage over his opponents and is rarely caught in a bad spot. On the other hand though, this is just another one of Rashad's attempts to throw Jones of his game.

    Haha, that's totally embarrassing. It wasn't any accident either - he didn't lose grip on the ball or anything. He just couldn't dunk without a defender. in front of him. Did he cry afterwards?
