    I wouldn't worry too much about a country with little resources, where majority of people are living in poverty and hungry, hungry people are not happy with the government, the North Korean government can only stay in power because of the iron fist.

    I had a endowment policy when I was single (not a wise choice!) cashed it out and put the money in mutual fund before I moved here. DH had a term policy through work, lost it since he is unemployed. I have gotten a few quotes for a term life, he hasn't get his act together to sign up.

    I used crockpot and a rice cooker that can be programed all the times when I was single and working. It's nice to return to ready cooked stew/broth/soups and a good smelling house when you are exhausted!

    Does your husband do framing? Or any other handyman jobs other than painting? I don't have jobs right now but it's good to keep in mind. :-)
