I heard this in regards to South Africa. A South African lady said you need to have lived there for 10 years to comment or be a native. Nonetheless, honestly, everyone talks about places they've never been - and places I've been, well I've been there for around 5 years, certainly not 10.

I was once kicked out from a forum because "I was not the part of the race that the forum represented." I don't like this kind of extremist idea. I believe in free speech, however, I am against all kinds of racial thoughts, I am also against generalizations or a view from an ivory tower.
