Would you consider paying staff members to become moderators and keep the forum active?

When it comes to forums, people tend to offer staff positions as a voluntary job but in some cases, you will find forums that offer a monetary incentive to work for them and help keep their forum free of issues and keep the activity going.

Would you consider paying staff to become moderators on your forum and keep the forum active?

My forums are too small to need moderators. However, though, if they weren't, I would certainly pay the staff with money or something truly equal to money. I wouldn't use volunteers, though they could use the experience on their resume

I can't straight up offer weekly or monthly money for it, but I do offer some long term payment for their services.
