Wireless is pretty much the default for anything tech but I'm curious to know if anyone prefers to use something that is wired. I personally have a wired internet connection because it is way better and faster than relying on WiFi.
However, when it comes to things like headphones or controllers, I think wireless is the way to go, even though I end up spending a lot of money on batteries and electricity charging things up between usage. Do you think wireless is better than wired or the other way around?
I have only recently switched from wired to wireless ear phones. I was a bit unsure to start with as I was worried they would fall out a lot but they are a lot more secure than I thought. I do prefer wired internet though as I think that it is more reliable. Wifi seems to cut out and be a lot slower. I think there is a place for wireless and wired tech.
I prefer wired as often as possible. But my new Logitech ergonomic TrackBall didn't come with that option anymore. The people at Best Buy looked at me like it was the weirdest question in the world when I asked if they carried a WIRED mouse.
While you have the convenience & portability with a wireless, that convenience comes with a price. Wireless tends to act up so much more. Seems the advances they make in technology only advances their pocketbooks. I've had to buy a new mouse several times as it kept being faulty. I read reviews on many people having that same problem.
Everything about my tech is wireless. I'm done with anything wired because it gets frustrating and odd for me making use of them now. It's more stressful using wired techs now.
With my keyboard and my mouse, I have them wired at the moment as I much prefer that with how much I use them with working from home. When it comes to my Xbox though, I much prefer to have a wireless controller as I feel better without having a wire trailing from my controller. I did have to suffer with a wired controller for 2 years after my official Xbox controller got really bad stick drift but I was finally able to afford a new official wireless controller last October so I am back to wireless now and it feels so much better when gaming now.
I prefer to make use of the wireless internet connection. At least, you have that freedom to be in different locations instead of the narrowing down that you can experience when making use of wired internet connection.
