WiFi tethering from your phone

Do you ever tether another device to your phone for WiFi? I do this fairly often if I am ever having issues with my internet connection and is very useful to ensure that I am always staying online when I want to be.

It can use up a lot of mobile data though so you have to be careful with how long you're tethering to your phone for. I think it's good for when you're travelling around and you need to connect to something. How often do you tether to your phone?

I very rarely tether things from my phones WiFi connection because I like to try and save my mobile data and use regularly WiFi hotspots if I can. I have used it a couple times and it seems to use up mobile data much, much faster than if you were using a normal hotspot so I don't think it's worth it unless you really need to do it.
