Who is a Linux user?

Is anyone a Linux user here? I'd be keen to get your thoughts on Linux and why you're using it as it's a really interesting OS for a number of reasons. It doesn't exactly have the best support for software, but I understand it has it's niche.

What distro of Linux do you use and what kind of software are you actually running on Linux at the moment? Do you find you have to look for a lot of alternate software as popular programs don't support Linux? How are you finding it?

I've never used Linux and I don't think I ever will to be honest with you. It just sounds difficult to get things working and there also isn't a lot of things that support it either. I feel as though Linux is more geared towards power users and people that work in IT like system administrators. I don't think regular folk like me would get on very well with it.
