When your dreams really happen...

My father was very ill and in a nursing home...I had a dream where he came to me and told me not to worry, that everything would be OK...I woke up & looked @ the clock...it was 2:11 AM...later, our phone rang...it was my mom saying he had died @ 2:12 AM...
 
This happened many years ago, but the dream/experience is still very vivid. I had a dream that I was at my ex-boyfriend’s funeral. I was hovering over his casket. I was quite disturbed by the dream and spoke about it to a few of my coworkers the next day. Later that afternoon, I received a phone call that he died of a drug overdose at the O’hare airport parking lot the night before. He was young, only 25. He did not do drugs when we were together, but came to me a few months before he died and asked me for help with his drug problem. I listened to him cry, but basically told him to **** off. I was still hurting from his cheating and lying. To this day, I live with the guilt of not helping him.
 
I have these all the time. My most vivid one was when I was a child and kept dreaming of a car accident. A few months later I was in the accident and it happened EXACTLY like I was dreaming it.

Also I kept dreaming about the letter A and a red car. The only person I knew with the name that started with an A and I where not close.

Few months later I met my DH his first name starts with an A and not only did he have a red car but a red truck. So weird.
 
My dreams come true all the time. The one that really freaked me out was I was driving on a road that had a higher road alongside of where I was. There was a truck carrying long drainage pipes & the straps broke & the pipes came tumbling off, bouncing down the hill & onto the road I was driving on. The next day I was driving on a hilly road, behind a truck carrying huge pvc drainage pipes. The straps broke & all of the pipes flew off the tuck towards my car. I was far enough away that I was able to stop & they tumbled & bounced off to the side of the road. :faint:

Same here, I have them all the time. I dream some one hit my dads semi truck on the gas tank side and it was not good, 2 days later I called him and guess what some one hit his gas tank on the semi...luckily truck was parked and he turned out ok, but could have been worse.

Yes, the other night I had this crazy dream about my doctor being sloppy drunk and wanting to my husband to go out drinking....I got really upset in the dream, but can't remember anything else. I woke up sweating.

Few days later RL....I ran into my doctor at the store with a buggy full of alcohol.
 
A 4 year old girl told her Mom about a dream she had that she would meet a girl with the same birthday month, blonde hair just like her and her name would be Anna Lucy. Two weeks later, this little girl meets my daughter for the first time. My DD is blonde, 11 days older (same birth month) than the other girl and named Annaliza. Neither of the families had met before that and we live 400+ miles away from each other.

Yes all the time. That is how I ended up buying the hotel......
I had a dream that DH and I bought a home so big that you could get lost in it, and in the very back of it was full commercial kitchen, I woke him up saying "why do I dream such crazy ****" telling him about my dream.
A few months later I looked at the hotel It was so bigf that you could and did get lost in it and in the very back was a full commercial kitchen.
To this day I still don't know WHY the hell I bought it.

Update to the statis of the Hotel. I have sold most of the tin, coolers, flooring, light fixtures, pool tables and collected rent from my 2 tenets for over a year, the Village of Birnamwood is now purchasing it from me to tear it down. (I am happy about this) they are paying me what I paid for it and are allowing us to take anything else out of it that we may want.
A salvage dealer is currently in taking out all metals (which he will pay us 25% of the take) habitate for humanity will be going in next to take anything else that may be usuable, Then the village will have it taken down. A very big WIN WIN for everybody.
 
**** I hope this doesn't happen. A few nights ago I had a dream that was upsetting. Bear in mind I went to bed for the 3rd night after eating half of a bag of Orville Reddenbacker kettle corn. In my dream I was getting dressed to go to a wedding. I put on my dress and looked down and had not just cankles but elephant size cankles with folds of skin hanging over.

Screw you Orville!!! You are not getting this girl. I only have 6 bags to go.

EXACT SAME THING happened to me when my grandfather died several years ago :shesaid:
