Ok, it was enough that the mods of anantech started deleting coupon codes. but now this forum? WTF! its not like you are responsible for abuse of them.

Guess its time to find a NEW forum again, fscking mods suck. maybe i should just go create my OWN UNMODERATED forum.<FONT size="6"> assmunches</FONT s>

Mind posting some examples?

Also, I'd ease up on the harsh comments. They're doing a good job. Before you start criticizing, maybe you should pick up the mod baton somewhere and realize that it's not so easy.

The mods, as far as what I have watched, have done nothing but follow the rules which are posted. I think you should get your facts straight before you go all psycho on the mods.
An unmoderated forum is just asking for trouble. It would turn into nothing but spam and legal problems for the owner.
I'd like to see one valid example.

It's funny that you came to this forum to get away from abusive mods, because I came to this forum to get away from people who are immature and whine too much

I notice Nef has grown coldly silent since the unfounded attacks on the mods (if there was a basis for the attacks, Nef sure hasn't let them be known).

For an excellent example of what makes Alien and all the Mods here great at what they do, I present http://www.aliensoup.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/000032.html . That thread is a perfect example of why this board is such a great place to hang.

Nef, care to present a rebuttal?

i happen to think the mod in this forum rocks just in general. i have no idea what you guys are talking about but even if the mod did mess up, i say give him a break. how many mods are so personal? this mod lets us have personal icons and everything. i say keep up the good work.

Okay, I'll make this brief since I'm a bit rushed right now.

Sunday I recieved an e-mail regarding alleged illegal posting of coupon codes for a certain company.

I cannot get into details at this time as it's a legal matter, however let me state a little about our policies here:

We will NOT give out any user information without a proper court order.

We will not 'ban' all coupons codes on these forums.

We will not 'ban' all coupon codes from a specific company, UNLESS they state that all coupons they have, or will ever have are only direct-to-specific-user/non-public coupons exclusively.

I have responded to the letter last night from this company, and am still waiting for a response.

They requested removal of coupon codes from public view, so I removed them. That's all I have done. No moderators made this decision, I took care of it personally.

...now moving to water cooler, assmunches.

I'm new here and I've found that the mods (along with everything else here) are wonderful.

I like that the mods and owner are all involved in the boards and don't just sit back and watch flame wars and junk.
 
have you ever been to any of the other deal sites? thay suck compared to here. people get on them and post a bunch of junk that you have to wade through. the mods here read everything posted, especially in the deals, and take out whats not relevant, and they also protect us from bad posts. i really appreciate them. they deserve a raise!! keep up the good work guys!! you rock!!
